Worskshop Description
Join us for a fun and educational 6-week pottery course designed specifically for homeschool students aged 8 and up! In this hands-on class, kids will explore both wheel-throwing and hand-building techniques, creating a variety of unique clay projects. From bowls and mugs to sculptural pieces, students will learn the fundamentals of working with clay while developing creativity and fine motor skills. This course is perfect for homeschool families looking for an engaging, structured art experience in a fully equipped pottery studio. Throughout the course, students will gain practical experience using professional pottery studio equipment, including the pottery wheel, slab roller, trimming and glazing tools. They will learn essential techniques such as measuring and creating templates for their projects. Wedging, centering clay on the wheel, shaping forms, and adding decorative finishes. Each student will complete multiple fired and glazed pieces to take home and enjoy. Whether new to pottery or looking to expand their skills, this class offers a welcoming environment where kids can express themselves artistically while learning a timeless craft! Clay and supplies included at no extra cost. Each session includes one three-hour class per week taught by instructor Christine Luchini.

ALL SALES ARE FINAL. I understand that participating at a pottery studio includes the use of tools and equipment that could potentially be dangerous. As is the case with any pottery studio you enter, the risk of injury is always present and cannot be entirely eliminated. I acknowledge that I understand that myself or my child will be operating and using a pottery wheel and all the accompanying tools that go with it. I acknowledge that participation in pottery classes exposes me or my child to a possible risk of personal injury. I am fully aware of the risk and hereby release Sira Lawless and Enkindle Pottery Studio from any and all liability, negligence, or other claims arising from, or in any way connected with, participating in a pottery class. I shall not now, or at any time in the future, bring any legal action against Sira Lawless or Enkindle Pottery Studio, and that this waiver is binding on me, my heirs, my spouse, my children, my legal representatives, my successors, and my assigns. I realize that I (or my child) is participating in pottery classes at my own risk.
