Each six week session includes one three hour class per week. During your class, your talented instructor, Janna Oliver, will teach you the foundations of wheel throwing, trimming, and glazing. Complex techniques increase as your skills progress. Each class will have no more than 8 students plus the instructor.  The price includes all of the necessary tools, clay, glazes, and firing fees (bisque and glaze firings.  No previous clay experience is necessary, however working on the potter's wheel does require a certain amount of mobility, so if you suffer from arthritis, or any condition that limits you in any way, please contact the studio to discuss this before signing up. A 25lb bag of clay is included for anyone who is new to the studio.  For students who wish to continue with classes, purchasing your own clay from the studio is necessary.
