6-Week Wheel Throwing and Hand Building Classes
Spend six weeks building real skills with Janna or Anna. You'll learn to center, throw or hand build, trim, and glaze, and you'll take home pieces you made yourself.
Which class is right for me?
New to clay?
Start with an evening wheel class (Wednesday or Thursday) or Wednesday Morning Beginner Hand Building.
Taken a class before?
Try Thursday Afternoon Wheel Throwing, or Thursday Morning Intermediate Hand Building & Wheel.
Good to know
What's included
Glazes, firing, instruction and use of studio tools. Clay is included for first-time students. Returning students can buy clay at the studio, starting at $30 a bag.
Missed a class?
We can't offer makeup classes, but you'll get one open studio pass to finish up your work.
What to bring
An apron and a towel, because clay finds everything. Forgot yours? You can borrow one, just don't make it a habit.
Arriving and leaving
Please arrive no more than 10 minutes early and wrap up at your class's end time. Teachers use the time between classes to set up demos, reset the room and grab lunch, and the next group will be ready to start.
