A dinner and creativity discussion with Kim Press!

Worskshop Description

There is a specific kind of magic that happens when makers step away from the wheels, wipe off the dust, and sit down together without the immediate pressure to produce. On Friday, May 29th, we are thrilled to host a special social night and dinner at Enkindle, led by ceramicist Kim Press of Sailing Adrift Studios. This evening is dedicated purely to the heartbeat of what we do: the messy, beautiful, and sometimes elusive process of finding inspiration. With over 15 years of experience in the studio, Kim knows firsthand that while we spend so much time focused on the mechanics of our craft, the true challenge is almost always internal. Gathered around a shared, family-style dinner, Kim will guide a conversation diving into the deeper side of making. We will explore how to translate a fleeting spark into a physical object, how to close the gap between your vision and your hands, and how to find your way back to the joy of the clay when you hit a wall of burnout or creative block. Whether you are deep into a massive project or simply searching for the motivation to touch the clay again, pull up a chair. Let's share good food, great company, and an honest conversation about the reality of the creative journey. The Details: Date & Time: Friday, May 29th at 6:00 PM Food: Kim will be cooking up a full Chicken Fajita dinner with all the fixings! Drinks: BYOB! Feel free to bring your favorite beverage to sip on during dinner and our conversation. Cost: $20 per person to cover the cost of the meal. RSVP: Space at the table is deliberately limited to keep the conversation intimate. Please RSVP by May 22nd to secure your spot and help us get an accurate headcount for the food. We can't wait to share a meal with you!
