Description
Build your own hand-sculpted owl in this hands-on workshop. Clara will guide you step by step as you shape a great horned owl perched on a tree stump, then bring it to life with texture and details. No sculpting experience is needed! This workshop is open to all skill levels, and each owl will have its own personality. WHAT YOU'LL LEARN • Sculpting the face, ear tufts, wings, and talons • Carving feather texture and surface detail • Attaching pieces so they hold up in the kiln WORKSHOP DETAILS Two sessions: Wednesday, September 30 and Friday, October 2, 6-9 pm. Students will need to glaze pieces on your own during open studio. CLASS SIZE & MATERIALS Limited to 8 students. Tuition includes tools, underglazes, glaze, and standard firing fees. Clay must be purchased from Enkindle Fire Studio (from $30 per 25-lb bag). Spots are limited, so register now to save your seat!

ALL SALES ARE FINAL. I understand that participating at a pottery studio includes the use of tools and equipment that could potentially be dangerous. As is the case with any pottery studio you enter, the risk of injury is always present and cannot be entirely eliminated. I acknowledge that I understand that myself or my child will be operating and using a pottery wheel and all the accompanying tools that go with it. I acknowledge that participation in pottery classes exposes me or my child to a possible risk of personal injury. I am fully aware of the risk and hereby release Enkindle Fire, LLC, Noemi Dengo, and Janna Oliver from any and all liability, negligence, or other claims arising from, or in any way connected with, participating in a pottery class. I shall not now, or at any time in the future, bring any legal action against Enkindle Fire, LLC, Noemi Dengo, and Janna Oliver, and that this waiver is binding on me, my heirs, my spouse, my children, my legal representatives, my successors, and my assigns. I realize that I (or my child) is participating in pottery classes at my own risk.
